PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING OF CHHATUA

We are manufacturing multi-grain chhatua out of various raw materials like Wheat, Chuda, Ground nut, Pease, Cashew, Almond, Amul Spray & Amulya, Gujurati and salt etc. 

The process in brief is as below:-

Roasting

Roasting of chudda, wheat, cashew, roaster.
ground nut, peanut, gram etc in the

Sieve

Then the roasted raw materials are cleaned by the sieve (chaluni) by which the dusty particles are removed.

Cleaning by hand .

The sieved materials are collected and the hard roasted and burnt materials are removed by hand picking. Similarly the skins of Deshi gram and pea nuts are removed.

Blending

The cleaned materials and other raw materials like sugar, dry fruits and Gujurati (Cardamom) are mixed together in the blender and prepared an homogeneous mixture.

Milling by stone Rhaki

The homogeneous mixture put into the chakki for milling during which the mesh of the product is being thoroughly monitored Which gives easy flow of the product while eating.

Sieve or chaluni

The product of the chakki is processed by the sieve to remove unmixed fiber of Gujurati and some skins of some raw materials are removed as choked. Then it is air cooled by putting fans and natural air.

Blending

The above product is again placed in the blender for addition of milk powder which increases the protein content of the final product.

Sieve or chaluni

Again the material is put to sieve / chaluni to remove if at all any slump of milk powder persists in the product.

Packing section

Then this mixed material is passed to servo automatic packing machine through hopper and screw conveyor. Now the final product as named Multi Grain Chhatua is packed in the specialised poly packs.

Bagging section

The final product of chhatua is packed manually in bags of 20 | 10 kg
as required by the customers.
