PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING OF CHANA SATTU

We are manufacturing multi-grain chhatua out of various raw materials like Wheat, Chudda, Ground nut, Pease, Cashew, Almond, Amul Spray & Amulya, Gujurati and salt etc. 

Roasting

The deshi Channa (Gram) is roasted in the roaster so that the gram converts to crispy and made easy to remove it’s skin.

Cleaning by hand

The roasted materials are collected and the hard roasted and burnt materials are removed by hand picking. Similarly the skins of Deshi gram is removed.

Milling by stone chakki

The sieved materials are collected and the hard roasted and burnt materials are removed by hand picking. Similarly the skins of Deshi gram and pea nuts are removed. The homogeneous mixture put into the chakki for milling during which the mesh of the product is being thoroughly monitored which gives easy flow of the product and comfortable for swallowing.

Sieve or chaluni

The product of the chakki is processed by the sieve to remove unmixed fibre and small and broken skins of Gram raw materials as choked

Packing section

Then this mixed material is passed to servo automatic packing machine through hopper and screw conveyor. Now the final product of sattu is packed in the specified poly pouch of 500 grams each..

Bagging section

The final product of Sattu is packed manually in bags of 10 kg or as required by the customers.
